Sadie celebrates any birthday like it's her own. She'll insist on opening the presents, blowing out the candles and stealing the limelight. Alex's wish for his birthday was go to Pirate's Cove and the go-karts on the Cape. And of course, stuff himself silly with DQ ice cream cake. Sadie was more than happy to go along for the ride.
While at Pirate's Cove, we were able to finally visit the sign created for Papa, our neighbor who passed away last summer (and Sadie's BFF). He (Irv, as mentioned on the sign) had worked at the course for many years and was one of the lucky two to have a dedicated sign. It was sweet to see it finally in person.
