Buttons and Bows

Way back in September, Sadie was all gung-ho for ballet. By the time Christmas rolled around, she was getting weary of the Saturday morning trek to class. Now that it's May, she was toast. But when it comes to costumes, make up and performing - that's another story. Bring it on.

This dance school was smart and broke out the recital so that it wasn't a 5 hour long ordeal. Sadie's performance was about an hour total and consisted of mainly 3 - 6 year olds. It was perfect. Her dance fell smack in the middle of the show. They danced to the song "buttons and bows" that had some catchy lyrics like "putting on my tutu, not a lot to do-do".

While there were a few kids that seemed distracted or had melt downs (one little one looked like she was hyperventilating), most were stage ready.
