We've borrowed Deirdre's old exersaucer for Sadie - and she loves it. Seeing that she's at the stage where she feels compelled to touch everything (she even got a big handful of toothpaste this morning), she's quite content sitting in this and mauling her toys.
From a very early age, she also loved to use her legs. They are very strong (which I can't say for her arms...I think she'll skip crawling because it requires too much upper body effort). She hip-hops in the 'saucer and spins around.
Portia also likes the 'saucer, as it gives her eye-level access to babies. She sniffs around until she sees an opening...then sneaks in a nasty dog kiss. Gross.
Here's a little video of Sadie in her 'saucer, taken the other day. Doesn't do it justice without sound. But no fear! We have ordered a new mini flip video camera (sound included!), which should be arriving in the mail any day now...stay tuned for hours of video fun!
