Angel at 37,000 Feet

Sunday morning we woke up bright and early for Sadie's first trip on a plane. I was nervous for weeks about it - a 5 hour trip with baby on my lap. We originally had a middle seat, but I was able to finagle a window for a few inches of extra space. The entire ride was great. Sadie just let out a few screams of boredom - but no major fits. She slept for the first hour and the final 40 minutes. She made eyes at everyone going to the bathroom and flirted with the flight attendants.

Finally we arrived in hot (98 degrees) and sunny Vegas. I'm here for a work trip and Auntie Kristin offered to babysit since she lives here. We met up upon arrival for some immediate bonding and playtime.

We later went to Auntie's friends house and took a dip in the pool and meet some puppies. Sadie was such a good sport, being 3 hours out of whack. She was sort of in a daze at this point, but stayed happy and awake until 7:00 pm Las Vegas time.
