We had pre-Easter fun with the Assumption College Alumni Association today, who hosted a children's Mass, egg hunt and brunch. Church didn't go so well. Seemed that Sadie was the only one who couldn't sit still or help herself from loud outbursts - she spent the majority of the time outside. We made the mistake of leaving the house without snacks, so that was half of the problem.
Egg hunt had lots of kids, divided into 4 years and under and 5 years and over. Even with this breakdown, Sadie was overwhelmed. Too much chaos for her to really concentrate on finding treasure. On top of that, she was paralyzed by a strip of crepe paper that was blocking her path - she literally didn't know what to do.

Easter Bunny - not so keen on him.

Brunch time was her event. All about the scrambled eggs and we got our $5 worth for her meal.
We cruised campus, told her stories of when we were there, where we met, where we got married. She was more concerned with checking out the classrooms and being assigned a mailbox.
