The Best Medicine

Last weekend Alex and I were able to escape for some couples time (and a wedding in Rhode Island). We enjoyed the luxury of sleeping till 7:30 am and having a leisurely brunch, with an hour long wait, at a funky cafe in Providence.

Sadie, on the other hand, spent a night at Grandma & Pepere's, waking them up at 5:30 for Curious George. The girl is like clockwork. She was also well overdue for a visit with her Great Grandfather. I'm not sure if he puts together who Sadie really is - how she relates to him or who she belongs to - but you can just see the sparkle in his eye when she's around.
