Pinkalicious

We're on a mission to find the best spaghetti and meatballs in the North End, so last Saturday we took another stab at it. Alex was really impressed with our meal at Trattoria Il Panino (except for the bread basket - it had olives in it, much to his disdain). I thought it was all ok. Don't get me wrong  - all amazing, but not 100% what I was looking for. And $60 for two bowls of spaghetti and a few beers isn't exactly a bargain. Part of the satisfying experience includes a reasonable price.

Love this photo. Both of them were cranky that I wanted a photo and they just wanted to go eat.

We cruised Faneuil Hall Marketplace a bit - shopped at some stores, saw the crew installing a massive Christmas tree and reveled at some street performers.

Post dinner Sadie wanted ice cream, so armed with her $6 kiddie cone (talk about breaking the bank - and look at the size of it!!) - she was satisfied with her pink ice cream with pink sprinkles, as she wore her pink coat, shirt, skirt, pants and socks (all hand selected by her highness). Satisfied, that is, until she saw mom and dad with chocolate chip cookies and abandonded her treat for those instead. Typical.
