Lace 'Em Up

Fulfilling his childhood dream of a backyard rink, Alex decided to build one in our yard this year. It's a 20 x 40 sheet of ice on the side of our house that has actually served hours of playtime for Sadie. And while the weather hasn't cooperated 100% - going from sub-zero to melting in a matter of hours - it's been good enough for practice.

Leo even laced up for the first time in giant skates for his little feet. I'd bet in a year from now he'll be full force.
