We had an opportunity to jet away to Cape Cod for a few days and make an extra long weekend of it. Even better, we stayed with Grandma and Pepere in a tiny but waterfront condo in Dennisport. We were just steps from the beach and have a big lawn to play on!
Sadie was introduced to the ocean back in May, but had a better chance to get up close and personal time time around. Upon arrival on Saturday evening we went down to the water's edge to see...Sadie gets very serious when taking in something new.
We got up bright and early (5 AM!) on Sunday morning. Sadie was so excited to get the day underway. She played in her tent on the lawn for a bit, then decided to venture down to the water again. The water was surprisingly warm - but not warm enough for a baby! She used the old "I don't want to get my hair wet" excuse.
Sunday night we took a drive to Chatham to stroll the shops and have dinner at the Wildgoose Tavern. Sadie was doing an impression of a wildgoose. I think she's got it down pat.
Hey You got Eli and Sadie matching "Cape Cod" rompers. too cute! I am so bummed we missed each other by ONE stinkin' day. :(
