The second half of our Cape adventure didn't have much adventure to it. Monday morning was sunny again, so we did some more sitting outside - but then the clouds rolled in and we headed out. We first stopped at the batting cages in Yarmouth, before going to the Cape Cod Mall.
Here's Alex enjoying the batting cages...

Here's Sadie bored with the batting cages...until she got to pet the gorilla.

Alex and I were so happy to spend this little vacation time with Sadie. It seems that our weekdays are heavily scheduled, just to maintain the pace of working and taking care of maintaining our lives...and the weekends are for catching up with what was left behind during the week (i.e. mowing lawns, grocery shopping, and family/friend commitments). For once it was nice to be on "island time."

We promised ourselves that upon our return to Holliston, we'd start some sleep training with Sadie, which is going to be painfully heartbreaking. Both of us cave when we hear or see her cry - but she must learn. Her current method involves alot of bouncing, rocking, nursing and coaxing to sleep. Time for the little chiquita to learn to fall asleep on her own. Here are a few pics of Alex trying to get her to sleep the other night. She's such a ham...totally has this thing for hanging upside down. She's a hoot.
