Perfect spring day today, to celebrate Mother's Day (as opposed to yesterday, which gave us 3 hail storms that destroyed my hostas). Sadie and I had a lot of quality time grocery shopping and doing a few errands. We set aside today to finally clean up the yard too. Mowing, mulching and some fresh plantings.
Sadie was estatic to help with planting. In fact, every time I turned my back she was picking a beautifu flower from each plant...then wanted to replant them in the dirt. A bit counterproductive, sigh. Once I distracted her with the watering can - that was it. She was on a mission to fully hydrate every blade of grass in the closest square mile.
Nice, calm day for Mama Foster. A nice, calm day for Mother Earth.
