With the amount of snow we had this winter, it's a given that we'd have some flooding. We don't have great drainage in our yard, but compounded with heavy rains - the inevitable happens with ponds in the yard and water in the basement.
Late afternoon today, the rains let up and allowed us to go explore outside. We need another 2 weeks of above freezing temps to rid our yard of all snow, but we are off to a great start.
Sadie slipped on her rain boots for some splashin' fun. She stomped puddles, toss rocks, and mounted the last of the snow banks. Maggie followed close behind, snout and legs covered with mud. The party ended when Sadie went head first into our make shift lake. Nothing a change of clothes can't cure.
